Molly Loomis, Principal
Trained as a social scientist, Molly brings a research background to her work, as well as a passion for understanding how humans learn and work together toward positive change.
Molly is equal parts researcher, strategist, designer and change-facilitator with 20 years of experience in education, organizational leadership, community engagement and change management. She’s spent her career supporting organizations to develop human-centered solutions to complex problems.
For two decades Molly worked in education leadership at some of the country’s top science museums, including San Francisco's Exploratorium, the Boston Museum of Science and ECHO at the Leahy Center in Burlington, Vermont. Eventually, she translated her experience with learning design and culture-building in museums to focus on creating conditions for learning and change in workplaces.
In 2020, Molly founded Moloco, a consultancy that helps individuals, organizations and communities to solve complex problems and design new ways of working that elevate people, collaboration and impact.
Molly attended Wesleyan University, Harvard Graduate School of Education and holds a PhD in education from U.C. Santa Cruz. She has committed her career to social justice and equity work, and is the recipient of two leadership fellowships through the Noyce Foundation and Snelling Institute. She lives with her family in Burlington, Vermont.
“I’ve had the great luck of working with Molly professionally in many different capacities, but the impact is always the same: thoughtful, effective, high-quality, thorough, compassionate, adaptive, bold.”
“Molly is the best thought and accountability partner you could ask for, whether it be through a public engagement or organizational change process. She is curious, respectful, and enthusiastic in her work, and has a lot of tools in her toolbox.”
